Discuss Forum's gone nuts! in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net

Bye darling

The market has gone to s$£%^e. Every man and his effing dog is now an electrician or plumber, heating engineer, plasterer etc etc. Thats why everyones sat at home on tinternet, nowt better to do because theres not enougth work for everyone. Think it will sort itself out in a couple of years though. They will all go back to their office jobs when the wifeys make them get a propper job, then we can get back to what we do full time. Rant end......

I'm starting to get browned off with this forum, its been going downhill content wise for a while, even the light hearted banter may not be enough to continue to compensate

Perhaps its time the forum hierarchy made some sort of rule about new threads, maybe to pre judge the new threads before they get aired, otherwise whats continuing is strangling the very reason this forum was successful

Trolls will be trolls just don't feed em. Adding new threads into a moderating queue and previewing all new threads will be a Moderating nightmare. The latest idiot just resurrected an old thread anyway so I don't think it would help either :(

I wish it was as easy as that Des but unfortunately we don't live in an ideal world. It would be great to censor every new thread but the man hours it would take would out way the benefits. We also have to remember that these forums are open for all types of members and inevitably we will get Mr DIY trying to get an easy fix.
