Hi
I hope its ok that I joined here as I am not from the UK as you can tell from my username :)
There is no forum for Electricians in Ireland so i hope its ok and posters don't mind if I use this...
I am a Electrician for the past 13 years and i started my own company 2 years ago.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Is the lectric different in Ireland?? When I was in Dublin a few months back I noticed they seemed remarkably similar to the UK - they even had BBC1 too!

We have MDSHUNK from the USA posting here too, and it's great to chat with fellow sparkies from other countries.

Hello Irish Sparks, welcome to the forum. As you can see there's no problem with people from outside the UK joining in, but as you might have noticed there might be a certain amount of "rise taking", but all forum members are open to this.
Look forward to seeing more from you.

Thanks for the welcome lads or as we say here "Cead Mile Failte"
Yeah the electrics here in Ireland is basically the same as in the UK.
Actually my electrical wholesalers is owned by a English company..Whoelsey? or something to that effect Im not sure of the name.
As for posters taking a rise out of me...Believe me us Irish are far better at getting a rise out of someone than anyone else! We are the Kings of winding people up :D
