Discuss Jammie Carragher incident in the Electricians Chat - Off Topic Chat area at ElectriciansForums.net

If he is from Manchester the chances are he cannot even talk properly lol.

What he did was wrong, spitting is disgusting, he should have been in court and fined for bad behaviour, however that said losing his job would be a mistake. He should apologise to the people concerned in a face to face meeting, and then the driver should get 3 points and a sixty pound fine for using his phone whilst driving. I don't care what happens to him by the way but ending his career over a moment of madness would not be fair IMO.

Agree with you in the most part. But these people are paid quite generously, to be in the public eye and for their views, probably been asked his views about footballers antics on & off pitch? I don't know, never listened to his programme.

He committed gross public misconduct and that normally promotes dismissal.
I don't like normally, lets take every incident by itself, he is a twit but losing his job would be over the top IMO.

If it had been LFC - Arsenal, this would never have happened, the rivalry and passion goes very deep.

I don’t condone it one bit and would never think of doing it myself, but I don’t think he should be sacked

Out of curiosity, similar situation, what would of happened? I'm thinking, pistols at dawn. :)

Looks like the car driver might also be done for using his phone whilst driving, and rightly so.

TBH he should have been concentrating on driving not goading someone. Carragher should have just laughed it off.
