I have a Metrel a BetaPat plus MI 3304 have trouble with the autotest shortcut codes collating the code to the item being tested has anyone found a format or list that that refers item to test (eg) food mixer -code***,Which I can obtain (BUY)
Have C&G certs but new to testing any help appreciated

Hi, It's also worth a chat with Metrel's own tech people, they're really helpful, it may just be a case of downloading updated software for your machine.

Thanks tried that managers away till monday
have to do some tests tomorrow would be helpful if knew the codes for normal house oven ,hob,washing machine and cooker hood any ideas gratefully accepted regards

If it's of any help, I can fax/e-mail a copy of the pages of autotest shortcut codes from the manual for the MI3304, it's the same machine that I use and I really like it.Let me know if you want them and I'll get them to you A.S.A.P.
 
Thanks K-PAT did some testing today all fine apart from induction hob kept failing are they different to ordinary hobs

Shouldn't make any difference, the tests are based on the input and output of the appliances and the earthing arrangements should be standard...at the risk of a silly question, was it disconnected from the fixed installation when tested, unless it was a plug in hob?
 
Hello K-PAT i was testing kitchen appliances in a Wickes store that was closing down and they was selling them off cheaply so they wanted them tested i had to put plugs on most because they were only set up for show.

using my metrel MI3304 trying to create reports keeps coming up
UNHANDLED EXCEPTION HAS OCCURRED IN YOUR APPLICATION

any ideas to problem welcome
