I've just got out of the shower and it got me thinking. I have a SELV fan which i cant actually reach from the shower. IP Rated light fitting i cant reach either. A pull switch for the light.

Yet inside the cubicle almost as wet as i am is a 45A electric shower which temperature i control with my wet hands, whilst completley naked and soaking wet throu'.........

Somehow it just seem right. Yet it is!

Ah but the shower should be a perfectly sealed unit to prohibit the ingress of water

I think the crucial word there is "should". I do wonder about the effectiveness of some of the sealing, or lack of same, on some front covers.
