Hi

Does anybody know the technical name for the orange lawnmower cable been looking everywhere and cant find it anywhere!

Thanks Terry

I think it's proper name is 3183y, I can't remember if it's a plain PVC cabtyre cable or if it's a PVC hybrid and I don't have time to look it up right now I'm afraid. It's sometimes known as toolflex or by other brand names.

You could also use an HO7RNF or maybe HO5RNF depending on the voltage. This is a better cable because it's neoprene which is more durable than PVC.

No bother mate, just grab a roll of 0.75mm white flex from screwfix and throw a length of it in the washing machine for 30mim at 60 with this:

In all seriousness... If it dosent require by regs to be orange then some arctic flex would do the job?

my mower requires special. it's called unleaded.

no mate. i'll advise on simple jobs rather than a guy injuring hisself. if you read some of my previous posts, you'll see alot where i advise getting an electrician in.
