I had DexEco do a site survey yesterday on a factory, this was to price up T5 alternatives in replace of the existing and slowly failing T8's.

I had received the survey by email, which showed the lights in wrong positions and orientations out by 90 degrees. So now I am dubious about the lux levels they are claiming, especially as they didn't include the windows on the survey.

Looks like I will have to do some work so, A Lux Meter Who has one? What model? And would you recommend it?

Yes I do see Test Meter have them, just after some first hand knowledge and experience please.

Thanks.

Oh, one other thing, not all that important but, has anyone else been down this route of customer wanting "so called experts/manufacturers in" who have you used?
I am only talking about 56 double 5' IP65 fittings, some with and without dimming sensors about 50/50.

I do actually have this one from Test-meter and find it good, does what it says on the tin.:icon6:

Have used thorn in the past, good service but you do pay for it.

Thanks Lenny, I did look at that one earlier, and I know if you have one and have given it the okay, it must be alright.

I thought about getting Thorn in, seeing as its their products that are exceeding they use by date and are popping!

I did a similar survey on MH low bays in a factory. I used this . Cheap and cheerful, but it did the job. If accuracy is critical you could check the calibration yourself using something like a GU10 with manufacturer's data and a tape measure. If the manufacturer's data is inaccurate then you have no chance anyhow.
This may also help. The samples include calibrated neutral density filters and, with maybe a bit of cutting, they are probably just large enough to stick over the light sensor. They are great to mess around with and at only £1.00 each you could splash out and buy 2.
