Morning all,

I've just found our about an app called RealRider which is available for iPhone and Android phones.

In brief, it logs your journey and can report your location directly to the emergency services if you have an accident on your motorbike. It usually costs £4.99, but if you register on their website and then download the app you'll pay nothing (offer available for a short period of time and the number of people are limited).

The phone probably detects the motion of turning end over end at high speed..:yes:

GPS and the phone senses the motion change etc. if it records something unusual it sends a message and your location to a contact and details past to emergency services. Basically.

Thought I'd let people know as the dust covers are probably coming off now.

Just don't drop your phone down the stairs at home or you will have the emergency services kicking the front door in!
