Hi Lenny ,music elicts an emotional response (and i understand if its not your bag i feel much the same way about most modern stuff) but the above tunes invoke a time 89 - 93 when it was cool for men to dance or stomp as i prefered grow there hair long it was also a time that made football hooligans the sort that would normally stick a glass in your face go out and dance all night stimulants may of helped. Musically and culturally these were powerful times .last rhythm in particular for me made me get up and dance in the front room with my baby girl for the first time in about 12 yrs goosebump,s smiles the lot im back in ben sherman checks.Here endeth the history lesson .ps back in black kicks . If you like folk check out Nick Drake "man in a shed"as well as John Martyn recently died .The music of above is also the reason im playing catch up electrically too.So its not all good what goes up must come down.
 
i have so much music on my backed up av got a couple or terra bytes 1000s of albums i used to give alot of time to music but with work and family i dont get to listen to as much as i would like get a couple of hours in the van and that it

HI mate like yourself most things .smiths The Fall .went to see the Fall and Happy Mondays at Liverpool last year reliving my youth .At the moment since going over on this thread am getting back into Electronica check out some of the posted tracks .Getting back into Aphex Twin aqquired taste some of his stuff is sublime some just plain S*it .Recently bought Vampire Weekend (even the names sound **** these days) and liked it a lot had a graceland fee lto it
 
Like a lot of the 80s stuff.Level 42,Phil Collins,Genesis,Bruce Springsteen,Huey Lewis and the News and anything that was around at that time that i liked.Depends on what age you are and what era you are into.
