Not enough space to list my faves, but my main collection consists of mainly dance (non cheesy), electronica and chill.

A couple of faves:

Fragile State, Groove Armada, Boards Of Canada, Massive Attack, Beth Orton.

Then again, i do like Foo Fighters, Doves, Feeder, Radiohead etc.

Hi Lenny,

You have the same music taste as me:

Hey buddy, thats really weird I was just thinking bout starting a thread on this very subject!!

I'm a massive Foo Fighters fan went to see them at wembley last year.....AWESOME!!

Dave Grohl must be one of the most talented musicians around today.

Also Nirvana, RHCP, Kings of Leon, U2, and obviously AC/DC:D

Links-

YouTube - Foo Fighters - Best Of You
YouTube - Foo Fighters - Times Like These
YouTube - Kings of Leon - Fans
YouTube - Kings Of Leon - Sex On Fire
YouTube - AC/DC - Back in Black
you may like some of these: Seether very Nirvana influenced:

YouTube - seether one cold night

Broken and Immortality are very good:

YouTube - Seether - Broken

YouTube - Seether - Immortality (Live Unplugged)

Another awesome band is shinedown. Simpleman and 45 songs especially. Brent Smiths vocals are exceptional:

YouTube - Shinedown - 45 (Acoustic)

YouTube - Shinedown - Devour (Acoustic on 92.3 K-Rock)

Finally Stonesour also very good loving Through the Glass and Bother at the mo:

YouTube - stone sour - through the glass (acoustic)

YouTube - Stone Sour - Bother live acoustic

Enjoy

Apologies if its 'not your bag':D

A few Radiohead tracks from the latest album:

YouTube - Radiohead - Jigsaw Falling Into Place
YouTube - RADIOHEAD - Reckoner
YouTube - Radiohead - In Rainbows - Weird Fishes_Arpeggi

Just discovered this new(ish) band (seriously weird but brilliant) from the latest series of 'Skins'. Yeah, i know its a tv show for students but i think its great:

YouTube - Low - Breaker (animated version)

Hands in the air:

YouTube - Push - Strange world

A few classics from yesteryear:

YouTube - massive attack- teardrop

Leftfield: (careful of the volume) Fast Forward to 3.20:

YouTube -SONG OF LIFE - LEFTFIELD

YouTube - Jam & Spoon - Stella

Chilled selection:

YouTube - Nightmares on Wax - Les Nuits

YouTube - nightmares on wax - rise

YouTube - Warm Sound - Zero 7

YouTube - Jose Gonzalez 'Crosses'

YouTube - Lemon Jelly - Soft

Damn i wish i could play this:

YouTube - nova nova - tones

Superb remix:

YouTube - Ian Brown - Fear (UNKLE Remix)

If you have never seen this then let it run through and watch. Vocals by Mr Yorke from Radiohead. Great song. Ill leave it posted for a while...

YouTube - Unkle - Rabbit in your Headlights

And finally ill let you find this one:

Aphex Twin - Windowlicker.

Not the sort of thing i can post but a great video.

Look for the 10min version.

Ill add more later.
Enjoy!

anyone like folk / celtic music?

Hi Lenny ,music elicts an emotional response (and i understand if its not your bag i feel much the same way about most modern stuff) but the above tunes invoke a time 89 - 93 when it was cool for men to dance or stomp as i prefered grow there hair long it was also a time that made football hooligans the sort that would normally stick a glass in your face go out and dance all night stimulants may of helped. Musically and culturally these were powerful times .last rhythm in particular for me made me get up and dance in the front room with my baby girl for the first time in about 12 yrs goosebump,s smiles the lot im back in ben sherman checks. Here endeth the history lesson .ps back in black kicks . If you like folk check out Nick Drake "man in a shed"as well as John Martyn recently died .The music of above is also the reason im playing catch up electrically too.So its not all good what goes up must come down.
