After recovering only around 24% of affected models, Recall UK estimates that there are almost 480,000 potentially dangerous dishwashers still in people’s homes.

The products were first recalled in July 2011 when it was discovered that some dishwashers could overheat and, in rare cases, become a fire hazard.

So in 10 months since the recall started they've only addressed 24% of the faulty machines... not a very good result. Apparently it's a problem with electrical fires starting in the control panel located in the door. The affected machines can be fixed on site and this is the official Bosch website where you can check the model and serial numbers of any machines to see if they're suspect or not. BSH Repair Action

I've put this in the General Electrical forum and pinned it where it should get better exposure hopefully.
