I hate digging out potting compound...
Problem in question ABB flow meter with fault on it causing erroneous reading.

I don't mind old potting compound at all. I tried using some of that congealed green snot t'other day, wonder gel I think it's called, it was blooming awful, couldn't get it to spread properly and it stuck to everything but the box I was putting it in.
 
Yeah this stuff we just get from ABB in a 2 part mix. Just need to get round to getting the pre-amp board out of this FM. Surprisingly this came out better than some, just in small chunks usually its normally orrid stuff!
