Good evening,

If it’s possible, I would like help in some questions that I have in UK certifications.
I’m a foreigner electrician with a certification in electrical installation concluded in 2012 and I used NARIC services to have it translated. According to them my certificate holds a dual certification: an upper secondary and vocational qualification so it’s an N/SVQ level 3 standard. My assessment is considered comparable to the overall GCE Advanced level.

With that certification can I apply to an ECS card? Having this certification is equivalent to have the city and guilds course 2357-13? With this certification do I have to take the 17[SUP]th[/SUP] edition or since I finish in 2012 I don’t need to?

Thanks for your time.

I would imagine that (unless the Country in which you obtained your qualification uses BS7671) you will need the 17th update.
