Just an enquiring on behalf of a friend, as although i'm probably just been dumb...i can't think what could do the trick...

Vauxhall Combo Van - 07 plate with standard roof rail's, and a standard halfords roof rack...

The problem is theres no real support, so although you can tie ladders or whatever down onto the rack, and although it's highly unlikley if supported correctly, things could slide off the end ( if you get me, having difficulty explaining )

I've tried too stick some aerial brackets i have on the frame of the standard roof rail, but they just don't fasten down tight enough...any ideas what could be used as a stop instead without having to buy a better roof rack?

Not to worry...quick prowl of the internet, seems they actually make 'load stops' who knew lol i feel incredibly stupid, but to be fair, i've worked 145hours in last 10days...forgive me :)
