My mates mum,Irish,who also spoke Gaelic,had a dog. For ten years,i thought its' name was "Gwinnybid",maybe Gaelic ....when dog died,i found out its' name was "Scruffy",it was just that the only thing she ever said to it was "Get in your bed" (Translated it for you all...) :conehead:
 
i think the proper name is "Suspension Clip"

But i've always known them as monkey puzzles, even the invoices from the wholesalers say monkey puzzle when i've bought some in the past
 
We used to use inductance measuring devices by a company called Wayne-Kerr. Maye it's just my mind, but... Daz

Flange & gusset
Always make me smile, and yes its the small things!

On my first day of apprenticesip, i was sent to get a flange coupling and brass bush, i stood there laughing thinking this is a wind up your not going to make a fool of me (i am very smart i know about about long stands, sky hooks and stripey paint), a minute later a flange coupling with brass bush bounced off the back of my head and i realised i may not be as smart as i thought.....
