I was just thinkin of some good slogans for a van, something eye catching and a bit of fun, any ideas.
I like my mates idea. it goes, Richards electrical, book early to avoid disappointment:chinese:

If im honnest, slogans are a bit tacky!, and far to over "Corperate" for my liking. State what you do and where you do it, keep it simple. the more corperate you make it, the more people assume your expensive.

Best advice ever. The phrase "keep it simple stupid" comes to mind

Maybe that slogan would work?? Haha

Call your company 'Chief Sitting Bull Electrics' with the slogan of "you've had the cowboys, now try the Indians". Cheesyer than Edam but I've seen this on a Seeks builders van and always makes me chuckle.

How about something more visual instead?

Whatever you put on your van, I implore you to avoid the word 'solutions'. it seems to be cropping up on many tradesmens vans - probably a fashion thing, but it makes me chuckle whenever I see "Joinery solutions", or, "Plumbing Solutions" - or (dare I say it) - "Electrical Solutions".

As HighTower previously said - be good at what you do and then tell people in plain language (without trying to sound like a hopeful for the next series of The Apprentice) - it's a winning formula.

Mind you, one of our local TV Aerial Fitters has the slogan, 'Satisfaction With Every Erection'. This is, I think, the exception to the rule.

That's a left over from the .com era. Internet "solutions" etc
It's been slowly trickling down from PLC's to smaller businesses, personally I think it looks dated.

theres a window blinds company up here that has 'blind man driving on the vans' makes me chuckle everytime, and local butcher has a 'cows removed at night'on his van...

I met a plumber on a job once. His last name was Beaver. His company name had nothing to do with his name but his email address was checkoutmybeaver@...... I didn't notice it at first, when I did, I couldn't believe how unprofessional it was. With tag lines/slogans, what your mates down the pub tell you is a good idea, is almost always best avoided.
