Im starting fresh electrical work on a new build. The mains is coming on the ground floor, from there I need to wire 3 more CU

I've done a 5-bed with 3-phase and approx. 40 circuits.

Admittedly somewhat high-spec. E.g. kitchen had circuits for 3 ovens & hob, as well as sockets & lights. And 2 backup immersion tanks in case of boiler failure. Plus various outside lighting & gate circuits.

Again, sockets in 2.5mm, multiple circuits per floor to keep the cable lengths down.

In this case, everything in a basement plant room, rather than boards scattered about the building. Doesn't make much difference to cable lengths.

If the OP has "won" the business, lord knows how he's costed it .... and if its not a HMO, then its going to be really high spec ............. the following threads by the OP could make interesting reading....

It's a house. 10 Bedroom house. I'd say there's around 10 circuits on each CU
