Symbols.

Would it be possible to get a feature were we could insert symbols like Ω or fractions ⅛ ⅜ ⅝ ⅞ square root √ etc

Things like this without having to copy and paste from word or use codes would be very helpful.

To save opening Word I use the character map from the Start - Programs - Accessories - System tools menu on the operating system. Just create a shortcut and put it on the desktop or toolbar

found the character map. but how do you put the symbols on desktop and then put them into the thread, or any other document

I put a shortcut to the character map on my desktop

I suppose using the notepad and having the frequently used symbols available to cut and paste from it would be a way to do it quicker than opening a word document

Hi Friends!!!!!

I don't think that there is any other solution except to develop the code for these and implement these in forums. Else the above mentioned procedures are the universal ones till they are not included in forums. Most of us do the same thing for such symbols.
