Hi
I have a Robin Model KMP 3050DL INSULATION-CONTINUITY TESTER!

What other tester do i need to practice a full test on a property the tester i have needs to calibrated i am only looking for the cheapest option so i can practice. I am sure its just an rcd tester

Yes or you could get a multifunction tester with a new calibration cert choice is yours.

Thanks for that yes it would be cheaper to get a brand new Kewtec Part P test kit price £277.64 ex vat.

I have the Kewtech KT61 think thats the one your talking about ! its a good multi there are a few things though :
1st It has a fixed 500v test currant so selv/pelv you cant do IR test on.
2nd Doesnt have no trip loop test ! not that much of a prob though.
3rd Doesnt do pfc so again not a big prob as calc is needed.

This aside its a good cheap small tester !

A multi function is probably a lot easier to use. One meter for all functions.

Still prefer my Robin separates tho!
