Discuss Testers in the Electrical Tools and Products area at ElectriciansForums.net

The tester that gets the most votes here tends to be the meg 1552 having said that its really down to personal choice to what suits you the best. If you can try and use the fluke and the megger. I personally have the 1552.

Hope that helps

Hi guys,

Im just about to purchase a new all ine one tester, anyone have any ideas on the best one to purchase?

looking @ fluke but not sure.

Please advise

I hear of more people un-happy with fluke MFT's, For value and for doing all the tests you'll need.. go with the Megger 1552..

I have the megger MFT 1553, its the one with bluetooth, a really good bit of kit, very solid and robust, made in Uk too.
Though to be honnest Ive never used the bluethooth, I cant justify the cost of the software!
