I've just returned back to a bag from a box...went for the veto pro Pac XL.

A decent value box is the stanley fatmax waterproof box. They are well tough, I currently use both sizes, 23" and 28" and both get chucked about and used as seats and stools. They have a seal to IP53, a small tool tray and are as cheap as chips too.

Don't like tool boxes, prefer bags with slots for all the tools.
With a box, the tools end up in a jumble, and it's easy to miss tools when leaving a job.

Not if you put them in a nice canvas tool roll with a slot for every screwdriver etc. first and they don't knock each other to bits whilst in transit either.

I have two Veto Pro Pack OT-XL, best bag ever, yes they are expensive, but I would say they are 100% stronger and have fantastic organisation.

I just be issued the Stanley fat-max rucksack. Quite pleased with it, only issue is no where to put screws etc, unless loose in pouch.
