Anyone got a company they recommend for WEEE disposal?
Got one lined up to collect the current batch but curious about other ones to compare prices etc

W&S Recycling in Poole, collection £30, hazard waste note £25, tubes 50p, collection bag £3 and no limit to amount collected for the one fee

What else you got?

Company in Scotland takes them for free. Trilight they are called don't know if they are down south or not.

You'd like to think it was collected free considering the price per tonne it goes for, better than unstripped cable I think!

Thought you just went for a 'wet on the wall'.

In my (much) younger days I was able to wet right up and over the top of the wall.

The trick was to guess whereabouts on the other side of the wall the neighbour's cat was.

with my neighbour I'd be trying to guess where he was lol.

If it's lamps/tubes our supplier added a small surcharge for WEEE and would collect and dispose for "free" unfortunately we didn't realise and had been paying for removal for a few months until I read the small print on the invoices!.

A lot of them do that now,I had a right do at cef they tried to charge me 50p on an invoice for disposal of old lamp, the thing was although I'd bought a new one there wasn't an old one to dispose of.

Probably couldn't see that far anyway... cos of the fog off the tyne.

This is not just tubes we're talking about here, but the whole lot, fridge, washing machine, TV, jet washer, microwave, ---everything! The tubes are extra on top of the standard fees. The collection bag you stuff with all the bits any it's gone in one!
