Evenin' Rommel, how's it going at El Alamein?? :tank:

Meh, bit crap really. Monty has beaten me back :(

Been a crap few months, loads of stuff to deal with at home, hence almost zero presence here or on the other side.

Life goes on though. What about you?

Still enduring endless rounds of hospital visits getting poked and prodded about.

For future I'd recommend emailing t&cs with each quote, but for me we also have a coversheet for all tenders that includes our payment terms to avoid any potential for arguments on it.

We tend to have probably longer timescales from start to completion on the new builds as we start with panels when the roof has just gone on with the panels, and can't complete until the power is connected and meter fitted, and EPC issued at the very end, with most of our costs are front loaded with the panel installation.

Beware the "in court advice service" - a bunch of business hating arrogant busybodies, with a big taxpayer funded budget and a cast iron belief that traders are always the bad party and by making it clear they will take you to court (at no cost to their "client") and seek some insane sum unless you pay their "generous out of court settlement offer"

Utter and total bunch of ----ers and a squandering of taxpayers cash...especially when the "client" is driving around in a pair of brand new cars worth north of 35K+ each, living in a house worth 300K+ and could more than afford to pay for their own lawyers etc (Who would probably tell them to do one as they brought most of the trouble on themselves through their own muppetry)

leeches...

(yes I had a run in with them....)
