Hi guys , I want to start up on my own but I'm confused,I'm c&g level 3,17th edition,2392 and currently doing my 2391. I know I need liability insurance and tools and van etc. but do I need to be nic, elecsa approval or can I join at a later date when I'm established.

Hi Jon,Welcome to the revolution. You said you are doing the 2391,is that one of the last booked sittings or do you mean its replacement? Out of the list of things you noted, the one you missed and will need the most is a sense of humour. You may benefit from detailing the type of work you will be seeking and your experience etc.LOADS of help and wisdom here but stick yer peperami in the cage and accept that it may get gnarled! Good luck.
