Just had a great couple of days.
Needed a trench dug, so thought I'd organize a digger and get an experienced driver to avoid hassle.
Land owner told us where there were potential water and oil pipes (market garden plus greenhouses).
Digger driver went through 2 water pipes and the oil line, plus ripped the end off a raised bed planter. Got them all fixed, and said be careful with back fill.
Get there this morning to find one water leak, dug it out by hand to discover he'd shoved the new joint sideways during back fill and sprung the joint.
To top it all, went up a ladder against a telegraph pole to fix new cat wire, only to hear a crack an find myself heading towards the owners prized pond - fortunately no damage to it or me.
Roll on next week....
Rant over, off to pub.
See you guys
