Hey everyone, hope I've come to the right place. I've so far been unable to find a website to post this up so hopefully it will be fine here.

I have a somewhat unusual project I'd like completed which involves an XBOX One console being stripped from its original casing and placed into the shell of a freeview box, therefore creating a "stealth" like XBOX console. I felt it would be necessary to post here as there would more than likely be some electrical aspect to this project.

I'm happy to pay anyone who feels they may be able to complete such task, everything will be provided as well of course. Thanks in advance.

An Xbox one is generally larger than any old free view box. You’ll have an issue fitting it all in.

I’ve not taken the lid off an Xbox…. Yet….. but I’d presume there’s several parts… power board, Port board where everything on the back gets plugged in, main control board will be biggest one and the disk drive. There will be lights and buttons on the front that will need to line up with holes in the casing…

I’d be suspicious…. No one has a free view box any more 😄

I “trimmed” the sides off my last sky plus box to get it to fit in the box type shelving bought from that Swedish furniture place… but that wasn’t trying to fit it in a box it wasn’t designed for.

What about hiding the console behind fake book spines or ring binders?

Thanks for the reply, I've taken the time to check the dimensions of the "XBOX Type S" against a particular freeview box, and it would surprisingly fit just fine. When you take an XBOX One out of its original casing, it is just a standalone unit inside as one, not multiple separate components. Just looking for someone with the relevant knowledge to make this happen.

With all console cases, they have also been designed for air flow, to keep the CPU and other chips cool.
Your new enclosure would have to allow for this as well. It's not just a case of swapping boards.
