I managed to clear this morning so that I could recharge the old Batteries.
Our lass had said she would get up and take the Dog out at 7am so I could get a lay in, Heaven I thought, I am up at 6am 7 days a week.
So What happens, Laid there wrapped up blissfully in my Duvet and the phone rings it's 6.45am, so I scramble to find it to be greeted by one of my customers,
Morning Glenn he says , when you come in Monday morning ( Got a weeks work up there booked in ) Can you come and see me first so I can give you another job.

And just before he hangs up he utters the immortal line, Oh I didn't wake you up did I !!!!!!

I sometimes do that just for the hell of it. Some mornings when I'm in the office early (maybe 5.50-6am) I make up some petty reasons and phone people just to see if they're awake and answering their phones.

We're not that far behind Tel, we've had a PABX for 2 or 3 years now.

Yeah, my wife is the same, there's not a snowball's chance in hell anyone in our house can sleep if she's awake. Works both ways though, I arrived back home at 2.30AM last week after a late flight. I was wide awake so I jumped into bed and put the radoi on to listen to the news and all the bedroom lights on so I could read.
