Afternoon Guys,
Just a quick one on a different topic, has any one else on here tried one of the Tough Mudder runs,(12 mile assault course) if so how did you get on with your run and how long did you ache for and what was your favourite/worst obstacle?

Chris

Nah. My mate wanted to do it once and tried to rope me into in. I looked it up and thought ...... SOD THAT !!

Don't get me wrong, I like running, I like being outdoors, I like getting muddy, but something about slurping through muddy puddles while taking electric shocks didn't appeal.

It varys on where they are really, prob 3-4 hours, did London West and the hills were brutal with a capital B, some obstacles are quite enjoyable and a good challenge.

Well much respect to you .. I certainly don't think it's for me though, or that I could make it round at all, lol

Enjoy yourself at the weekend !

Especially one called Arctic Enema, basically a 20 yard skip filled with ice and water with a barrier across half way so you have to go under the water and the feeling is something else, can hardly breathe

UPDATE:
Well we survived it, just, the ice one was our worst one yet, a few pics to have a look at, note the electro shock therapy, basically 4 different electric fence systems at 10kv evenly spread out to make sure they get you....... a lovely feeling

good job, what was your time? did you finish in the front, middle or end?

There must be something seriously and mentally wrong with people that call this sort of thing FUN!!!!
