Not funny really but it made me smile all the same, I was at the OS this morning, just idling away 30 mins, as well as having a burger.
Thought I would mosey up the electrical isle for a laugh, there was a young couple in deep conversation withe resident expert, couldn't help but eavesdrop, apparently the couple had bought a new shower, and him being a bit of a handy man was going to fit it himself, won't go into details but expert man flogged the a 25 m coil of 2.5, a switched spur and a back box as well as a 30A junction box, well I thought I will wait till Mr expert left and, politely approached the couple to try and put them right, maybe get a shower job out of it, but no luck got told to eff orf, (they were rather posh) they will do what the expert said, and would I kindly mind my own so to speak.
Tried to speak to someone in charge but got no joy there either, shouldn't be allowed, hope matey finds it so difficult to do that he will call a sparky, was going to give my card but thought better of it

as they say. you can't educate pork. what is worrying though is this so-called "expert advisor" has recommended equipment that could kill them. i'mm assuming it's an instantaneous shower thast they bought.

I would write a letter to the store manager explaining what happened and the implications of it. Mention the words 'Fire risk' and 'parts recommended by a <insert store name here> employee' in it. Daz

I had a part time job with a sister company for about 6 weeks and believe me you wouldn't credit the "management" only interested in sell sell sell
