Newbie here with a modellers question.

I know that this is not the proper place to ask this question as I have trawled the net and found no answers whatsoever so I am hopeful that you good guys may be able to answer.
I am building a radio controlled model aircraft of the Grumman F14 Tomcat and I want to use the variable wing set up by using a linear actuator.
The system would run on a 6volt supply and the trunnion would transverse the thead
ed rod until it hit the microswitch.I am hoping to control the mechanism using a Futaba servo.

Hope the photo helps in my request

You can get linear actuators designed to be plugged straight into the RC Receiver. Unfortunately, they are not cheap, e.g. Linear Actuator L12-50-100-06-R

If the model is worth a lot, a professional linear actuator might be safer!

I can't help with a cheap Receiver-controlled switch to keep the cost down by allowing you to use the cheap linear actuator.

You'd perhaps get a better answer on a RC Forum.

Good luck
