Yep, got one of those knippex pliers Pete, they are a massive time saver for most jobs, except trimming cable ties. id also recommend them!

Just wondering more than anything really, im not really involved in house works a lot. But why is it acceptable to use twin and Earth from the connection point to the cooker? if I was doing it I would be more inclined to use a flex with a coating resistive to grease and oils etc in case of...
