Yes they are definitely weighty! But equally they are very sturdy. I can't seem to find them online unfortunately.

schneider own thorsman now so check there site for it.

personally i really like rak-a-tiers.

there pricy but lightweight and can carry 25mm swa

I Google it and found an American site that had a design that just hangs down off a ladder while laying sidewide
This let's it move around
And all it is, a dish with a hole and a pole with a disc on it, poke it through and hook on later ladder, place the pull in like with location.

Think maybe making your own out of wood. I think 3D printing would cost too much

2 angle boxes, 2 couplers and bushes and some offcuts of conduit are all you need to make a perfectly good cable reel holder

I made a dispenser from conduit parts but the bushes gave way after very little use, so that went into the skip.
I do own both of the other types and still have the problem of the cable wrapping itself up, I think the cable makers need to make the cardboard on the outside of the reel bigger and i would not happen as often.
