As above. Unless the kitchen ceiling is a fire barrier (it won’t be in a normal house) then fire-rated downlights are not necessary .

Yes. But what about lighting? You'll need another switched FCU with 5A fuse in it for lights. In the house,13A FCU will be fine, providing she doesnt have kettle plus heater! take a look at the current required to actually BLOW a 13A fuse. PS, I'm surprised that 6mm is necessary. How far...

Skip is what you need for a VOELCB. Obsolete many decades ago and, mostly wont work any more. Or the Crabtree museum, most of the VOELCBs were made by Chilton. Actually, skip is what you need for the fuseboard too!

In my experience, an artist's impression of wiring can leave out some essential details. It can often be what is believed to be in place but not really. Best bet is to post a photo of the actual wiring to the junction box. Thank you!

Really closeness of pipes and cables not a concern. Have you looked under your floorboards recently. You’ll find pipes, junctions etc in close proximity to non waterproof junction boxes with all sorts of electrics in them. If there’s a leak in a ceiling water finds it’s way out, usually...

Wiring in a new Blink doorbell

That is not a transformer. That is the bell (ding dong) solenoid. Yes, that is a bell transformer. They dont make em like that anymore! IHNI if it is suitable for Blink. Suggest you look at the Blink spec and buy a new transformer that meets the requirement!

At least you can find the switch when thd light is off! In fact, that’s how I wire the (FCU) light switches in my sheds. Then I can find them in the dark.

Not anyone, I would say that anyone who makes any change inside a CU must be competent. and you missed out a very important activity: TESTING! So, you'd need the appropriate set of calibrated test equipment. You know, minor things like, does the RCBO function properly, inside the trip times...
