    i was taking the pish,, in all my time on big sites (industrial/commercial) iv only ever seen one spark wearing a toolbelt, he had the pish ripped accordingly, clint eastwood etc. as said a pair of dickies with plenty pockets will do the trick.

    sick as **** at the min john, hes stressed as he said the college are overloading the staff and everyones overworked. he went on the sick at the end of our course and missed the last couple of weeks, we all passed like. how did you find the 2391, its two parts now and costs a lot more.

    correct, 17th not needed if you have the nvq 3 and 2330 lvl 3 to be graded.

    the 2330 is no longer (unless your already on it), but was the starting point imo, all the op has are a bunch of add-on quals which a qualified spark would do to add to a cv. the recognised main qual now is the 2357 and incorparates the nvq am2 and is the one the op should realy be aiming for...

    tbh you should at least be working in the trade to even be considered for an nvq, at the end of the day it is supposed to prove you are competent. Even though the NVQ is easy to fiddle so doesent prove a great deal but satisfys the JIB..

    No, but you can do the NVQ and not do the AM2 if you are an adult learner in the trade.

    its usualy around £10ph,,, im sure you could manage to live on that, if your earning more than that atm and in a secure job i think you need to reconsider being a spark.
