Metrel EVSE A1532 adapter and Type 1 tethered

Need to get an EVSE adapter for EV Charger Point installs... and thought I'd upgrade my MFT at the same time... tempted by the Metrel MFT and EVSE adapter combo. However, it looks like the A1532 adapter only supports Type 2 cables ? Is there a different adapter that can be used to allow testing...

Does anyone know of any City & Guilds 2919-01 (Electric Vehicle Charging Courses) - this side of the Irish Sea? The only course I can find is an NICEIC course which I'm assuming doesn't award the C&G qualification.
