    r1 and r2 loop test??

    While doing the r1 and r2 loop test on a ring main they always say at least the r2 too be a larger reading than the r1, because of the cable size difference?. why is the earth reading higher, I thought the bigger the area of the core, it would have more resistance than that off of 1.5mm earth???
