    Maximum distance for meter tails

Hi All, Im in need of a little advice, I've been asked to change a consumer unit that is over 3 meters from the main feed! The location is in fact in the basement of a shop down stairs! So if you need to isolate the tails you would have to gain access to the shop and then to the shops store...

    Question on maximum demand (load)

Hi, the maximum demand (load) in a property is as follows: (4x32+4x6)0.40 = 60.8 amps and the main fuse rating is 60 amps. Does this comply, taking tolerance into consideration? What is the tolerance in this kind of situation? Should I ask DNO to upgrade the fuse and the tails? Many thanks!

Maximum RCD size for a house

Hi Everyone, I'm going to a house to check an rcd that keeps tripping, think it's an 80A 30mA. I'm thinking of upgrading the rcd as it is the main switch for the consumer unit. Anyone know what I can use? Like time delay, up it to 100mA, not sure if they're not for domestic use? Cheers all.

TT system - maximum earth fault loop impedence?

I've recently completed a part p defined scope course but all of our testing was on TNS or TNCS systems, in our house we have a TT system and in the OSG I can't find much information on the maximum earth fault loop impedence, just says that it is likely to be higher than their TN tables? I might...
