    Would you say that niceic is the most recognized and acceptable scheme in the industry? Why is it that some corporate companies specify, that work be carried out by niceic registered firms?

    PIRform renewal!

    So today I went to renew my PIRform subscription for another year and I was somewhat perplexed to see that they have associated my licence with being an Elecsa member (which I am) and are asking for my registration number and won't release a new licence until they have verified my membership...

    So I see some self employed traders claim (or attempt to claim) absolutely anything they can back from the tax man, I think I read somewhere on the forum someone knew some bloke who tried to do this with a new kitchen saying it was for business purposes, which is quite ridiculous...     Basic question boys but just want to check. Doing an eicr for a flat which will then be rented, printing one off from iee site will be fine wont it? As in, I dont need to be with one of them lot do I? Fairly sure I don't anyway but never hurts checking!

    I'm looking to register with napit as they seem to be the cheapest( not always better I know) but as I don't get a lot of my own stuff find it hard to warrant paying nic prices, any napit members or ex with positive/negative info?
