Need advice on proving units

Hi all, I'm looking at purchasing a proving unit, I need something that will work with both multimeters and multifunction testers as the instruments I normally use to check for voltage are a Megger 8037, and a Megger MFT 1553. Any advice gratefully received, thanks.

Fluke T5-1000

Hi Does anyone know if we can use a Fluke T5-1000 with a proving unit, or do we need to use specific voltage detectors? Cheers Mark

Proving Unit

Do i need to get my Proving unit and volt tester checked and do i need a cert like the muli tester? Also, where could i get a copy of the Elec at work act guys Many Thanks

Which Proving Unit to buy

Currently (no pun intended) training as a sparky, would be grateful for ideas about which proving unit to buy, are they all much of a muchness or are there some to be avoided, after all this could save your life one day. All thoughts appreciated. Down2earth.

Do I Have To Have A Proving Unit ??

Juts a quick question Do you HAVE to have a proving unit for you NIC Or Elecsa assessment ?? Will I be expected to have one?

Voltage/Continuity Tester /w proving unit

Hi everyone, Im looking to buy my first (always use companies) voltage/continuity tester. I have seen the likes of Fluke online and wondering which ones are best to use, and also which proving units work with which testers? Many Thanks Matt
