DNO's require you to provide protection to tails that are generally longer then 3 meters, by means of a switch fuse.
 
why have posts been removed is there a problem with building site humour.
there was no swearing no insults just a bit of light hearted banter between adults
dont you think you are being a bit over zealoust

i think we will have to agree to disagree it was 2/3 short post there is nothing in
a bit of humour that stops us being professional .
 
Best not to refer to it as the 3 meter rule,because that is the maximum lenghth of tails some DNOs permit before you supplyyour own switch fuse
If they, in your area, say, for instance 2 meters, thats what the rule will be
They decide so best check with them first

Hi Old Dog, I was wondering where my post had gone to aswell....hope I never upset anyone or overstreched the rules in any way....just a little light banter.....Im new to this forum and not sure of protocol....hope we are still friends Jason ! ;) :)
