Pardon the pun, but it wood be these for me

No they would not.

I said earlier I bought a dewalt combi drill through Screwfix. I bought these bits at the same time.
On the day of purchase I had to drill through some joists, just the 20mm.

I got to joist number 5 and the drill went up in smoke….

No questions replacement…. But those screw-in flat bits don’t half take a grip

Those are with an impact not a combi

There must have been a fault with the drill, I'd expect it to do a lot more than that, my dewalt & makita combi drills haven't missed a beat with these bits
