I was looking forward to receiving my pre-ordered "The Endless River" what a disappointment. I cant believe some of the delusional reviews it is getting. Maybe I'm just getting old.

I've not heard anything yet except the single, but it was always going to be a hard act to follow. TBH, I always felt Division Bell was a very well constructed whinge of David Gilmour, so the left over material shouldn't really surprise us. His last solo album was a bit more of the same, too.
I've been keeping up with the actual album launch party in London tonight though via a mates FB feed, he's doing retro oil projection there.

Considering that it's made up of things that weren't considered good enough for The Division Bell is it really surprising that it's not up to the mark?
TDB is still a hell of an album though so maybe the mark is extraordinarily high.
