Agree. I think that box and isolator was available on line for £30 ish and adv implies new for 2016.

The owners bought the house about 18 months ago and it was in when they got the keys .....

I think I need to do some tests prior to making any changes to their kitchen ......

The date of manufacture of MCBs are often stamped on the side. Also the enclosure itself may have a date ident.
