Im interested in buying an armeg box sinking super set but are they any good? I have read reviews on wall chasers and I think I will avoid buying one of them as they sound like they cause too much dust. Do you have that same problem with the Armeg set?

Will be intresting to find out ! i have a set but havent used them ! saw them on youtube looks ok ! also use a wall chaser mines (sparky) ok with a good hover !

going by some other posts i have read on them they are nice to collect dust. i did have a go with a set but did not seem to impressed with them

Never used one, but wherever they are discussed on here they are meant to be pants. Apparently they'll just about work on blockwork, but you've got no chance with brick.

i'll sell you mine. got the full monty in a box where its been after one use. cost me £180. make a reasonable offer :)

i've got a set and i wouldn't bother again. i spend most of my time with a hammer and chisel now as the box sinker won't touch brick, even a lot of the concrete/breeze blocks used in the 60's can't be cut by them. they only seem to work on new soft breeze blocks, and how many of them do you see? not enough to warrant £180-00 as most brand new houses are that god awfull studwork plasterboard that seems to be made of straw.
hey-ho, another expensive mistake learned.

I bought the Round arbour and then square box job (cheapie Silver line) one for a job wore the arbour out in that job but at £16 i dont care!

On new block its great (would only use on first fix or total refurb tho) andgle grinder with diamond blade and SDS+ Chisel the option for harder block.

Watch out can knock the brick out of a single wall! Handy but wouldn't buy an expensive one unless it was really needed and worked! (which from above they dont!)

So worth training a mate/apren up to use the chizzy and lump and getting them to knock out and chase !

I have the Ameg kit, I am not as dissapointed as some on here, but I would not buy another one!

Scutch and lump is as quick and does less collateral damage!!!!
