hi
get mine from denmans £1.79, make fitting downlights easier. can't stand the cheap choc box with connecting blocks

me too. at around £1 per downlight, is a no brainer. quick and easy too.

I use the line enclosures with their MF kit mate. Very quick and easy, as you use cable ties for securing.

Yeah I do too, mainly with their MF connections for anything under floor etc.

Been asked to quote for installing down lights and have asked for the Ashley JB, don't know why didn't bother asking.

They have probably specced Ashley as they have been told that it is the only MF box available. Amazing how many people don't know about the Line products....then again, many of the big suppliers only stock Ashley.

The 501s are really good, but it is strange for them to be specified.
I use a lot of them when customers can't decide what lights they want LOL

Used them recently on an office refurbishment.
Not ideal, as the cable we were using was flex.
A right pain trying to get all the strands into the connectors.
Would have been fine with solid T&E.

They are great. I use them all the time.
Used one last Friday in a bathroom refurb.
You can fit six cables in no bother.

Still using the j501? Pm me your contact details so that I can send you a LINE sample- more flexible, quicker and the highest spec and you will save some time and £'s.

I do use them.

But sometimes when having to sort out cabling in lofts and when the JB needs screwing to a surface, the J501 still has its place.

Going to first fix kitchen down lights later on and we are using the lines grenades

Thumbs up on your first fix! LINE can be surface mounted too if required!

The weight of the line box, even fully loaded is so little that if you clip the cables either side then the box is adequately fixed without any strain on the cable.

I use the j501's all the time since they where first realised. Great boxes and look very good. I know that the line boxes are quicker and can do everything better etc but I've got use to using them, just my opinion.
