Hi all,
I'm new to this forum, got a question about ATEX regs.
We have an EXd box on site that has an optical level amp, the EXd box is over kill as it is only a zone 2 area. We need to replace the box as its damaged. Question is can we replace it with an EXn box the amp in the box isn't EX rated but is fed through a barrier.
I thought it could be fitted into any box rated or not as long as it was IP rated and labled up as Ia equipment.
Any light shed would be appricated.
