Avatar flags: great idea

Great idea, but could it be more localised and use the Scottish, English welsh and NI flags?
It’s a UK based forum, so the majority of users are Union Jack, apart from a Spanish, I’ve seen... a South African and the few Americans that sneak in past immigration.
There are local discrepancies between regions of the uk concerning the answers given to questions.. (part p) and I think it would be helpful.

I’m not offended by the Union Jack. Far from it, but I do think if it can be done, we should have separate flags

We do not have any representation on the Union Jack ( sort of conquered a few years back ) so it may not have the same degree of love that the rest of the UK may feel

Appears that they just show where your IP address is based, not where you wrote your location as.

The Union Flag is given to all in the UK.

It uses a global standard Geo-IP and isn't politically swayed for Catalonians (they'd wear a Spanish flag) or Crimea (they'd currently have a Russian flag) etc.

It is based on networking IPs and the country you are in at the time.

It's not my choice. It's a tool that matches global connections.

You can however go to your preferences and remove the flag.
