hi has anybody used the above named product's ? if so what are they like quality and performance wise ? and also customer service delivery e.t.c.
i'd also like to ask as a new and inexperienced solar p.v. company is it best for us to buy our p.v. product's in all in a box kit form ? and does it work out a lot more expensive to do it this way ? thank's in advance for any help offered !

Hi carp77

Azur have been around for a while, it's solid kit.

It depends upon your roof covering type which is actually best on a roof by roof basis. - Don't forget you'll need to do structural calcs for dead load and wind loading also.

Kit's have their place when you're getting going or only doing the odd install here and there. On your first job, it means that you'll have 90% of what you'll need.

With regard to kit form or per item / BoM, we always specify each job item by item on a Bill of Materials basis. Round here, I don't think we've had a single job yet that a kit would have had everything in that we needed and they never include all the AC side of the equation that you'll need.

Price wise, the kit 'appears' to be cheaper than the sum of the parts, however you're going to need all sorts of extra little bits and pieces.

Also prepare that it will take you twice as long as you think it will as you work out all the little nuances.

Find a good supplier, (try waxman) talk to them tell them what you're doing and they'll help you make sure you get what you need.
