nice , Id say a little overkill for a domestic install but nice install all the same. Certainly not done in 1-2 days ;p.

You're just being modest! You could have done that in your tea break.... whoops you dont have em! ;)

cracking job but all the money in the world wouldn't have been enough for me to take all that insulation out , crazy!!

tray cost £25.00 inc standoffs , i include it in the cost of the rewire , great if they are going to board the loft cables are out of the way , it took 7 days start to finish including all the removal of insulation and disinfection of attic ,all chased and patched , it has 4 ring mains , bit over the top but good separation between the rcd's

4 rings how things have changed , gone of the days dropping a plum bob down the cavity, 1 ring for the whole house ,

that reminds me....need to find the other leg of the ring so I can split this place between upstairs and downstairs, found one leg, the other is currently eluding me...might have to invest in or borrow a cable tracer to find it...
After that its the lighting circuit (one for the whole 70s built house...) its wired...oddly....CU is in the understairs cupboard, but the light for the understairs cupboard is virtually at the end of the lighting circuit rather than the start....
