IET Wiring Regulations updates - IET Electrical

Sticking to the PV aspects, there are some minor tweaks to section 712 that:
- clarify where the solar pv input is connected into a consumer unit;
- clarify a point about when a type B rcd is required;
- improve the diagrams.
I do not think the pv clarifications are controversial.
On more general points the regs are:
- dropping the definition of competent person and replacing the definition of skilled person with skilled person (electrically). The latter is I think the definiton that most of us will fall into.
- introducing a definition of 'auxiliary circuit'
if you want to comment deadline is 8 Mar 14.
